"Lights of Love"

A Special  ”thank you” to everyone who helped make the 13th Annual Lights of Love so memorable.

During the holidays we see lights everywhere. No matter what your religious affiliation, this time of year is special. The festive feeling we get reminds us of those we hold dear and of those we remember with love.

At ARC, we have a very special way to honor all pets. We call it the Lights of Love. For a donation of $15, we will illuminate a white light for each pet that “lives” on in your memory or a colored light to honor each pet with which you currently share happy times.

These very special lights will be displayed at 6:00 pm on December 13^th, 2011 at our 13^th Annual Lights of Love Event, located at Coconut Point, Estero, Florida. This magical event takes place outside under the stars, alongside the waterfront of the Lakeside Shops and Restaurants.  There will be live music by Jim Morris, along with an expanded program dedicated to celebrating life and those we treasure most within it.

We hope you will gather with us to honor those pets that have had a profound impact on your heart as well as those that you remember with love.  All companion pets are welcome at the event to join in the festivities! Stay after the ceremony to dine, shop and walk with your best friend. Coconut Point Mall prides itself on being pet friendly! Your support is a light in the darkness for those orphaned and abandoned animals.

Each pet honored or remembered will be our special booklet (which is mailed to contributors in our February newsletter) as well as on our website through January 2012. All proceeds go to feed and shelter over 400 abandoned pets at the Animal Refuge Center.
