My story:

Phaedra is super friendly, and follows visitors around asking for attention. She does not mind being held.

Phaedra is FeLV positive.  Feline leukemia is a disease that only affects cats -- it cannot be transmitted to people, dogs, or other animals. Regular veterinary check-ups and good preventive health care can help keep these cats feeling well for some time and help protect them from secondary infection. Twice-yearly physical examinations, laboratory testing, and parasite control can prevent complications and identify problems quickly. All FeLV infected cats should be kept indoors.

These sweet kitties need homes just as much, if not more so, than cats without FeLV.  Won't you consider Phaedra?

My ideal home:

I'd do best in a quiet, loving home...
