My story:

Daisy is such a sweet and lively little girl.  This adorable Chihuahua mix has had a very hard start at life.  She was surrendered by her owner when she was no longer able to care for her special needs.  She was having episodes of paralysis with her rear legs, and her owner could not manage the testing and treatment that were required.  ARC stepped up to help this special girl.  She visited a veterinary neurologist and had an MRI to diagnose her condition.  Daisy has syringohydromyelia, which causes her to be a little uncoordinated with her rear legs and to have occasional urinary incontinence.  This doesn’t slow her down one bit!  Additionally, and unrelated to the syringohydromyelia, she developed a bulging disc in her back that required surgery.  Daisy recovered from surgery wonderfully, and is now awaiting a Forever Home.  Daisy would also be available for a Foster Home.  She generally does very well with other small breed dogs.  Please consider giving Daisy the terrific home that she deserves!
