A Home for Harley
Harley defied all the stereotypes that make Pit Bulls a challenge to find homes for. This beautiful, loving, gentle girl was good with other dogs, children, cats, and all people. She had good manners and a calm demeanor. Yet she was overlooked for more than 300 days. After spending the day with Harley at the Southwest Florida Pet Rescue Festival, Board Trustee Laura Leinen was determined to find this sweet girl a home. She dressed Harley up in a variety of Halloween costumes and created a silly, but appealing, video campaign that was shared on Facebook. It was a success! The Dunsworth family that already shared their home with an ARC dog, Boowinkle, made Harley their newest addition. Harley will surely be enjoying her very own home this holiday season. If you are interested in adopting a terrific dog or cat, please contact ARC and we will pair you up with your perfect match!
