My story:

Alana came to ARC at an early age. Not long after her arrival, she was placed in a foster home with another kitten. There they received constant care, everything they needed to thrive, and lots of love and attention!

Alana quickly adapted to her foster home and totally enjoyed the company of her caregivers and the other kitten. Alana and the other kitten played, ate, and often took naps together. Alana also liked snuggling in her foster Mom’s lap and getting gentle petting.

Now, Alan is at ARC, looking for her forever home--a home where she can give and receive love every day.

How To Adopt?

ARC is open daily from 11 AM until 4 PM, Wednesday through Sunday, for visits and adoptions. If you see a resident that you like and you have further questions, you may contact us and an ARC representative will get back to you to discuss him/her in further detail. Or, you may call (239) 731-3535 between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM for more information. Please leave a message if we don't answer, and we'll do our best to return your call promptly.

Sponsorship

If you are unable to adopt a resident at this time, you can become a sponsor for a particular dog or cat! The average cost of care for one resident at ARC is $1000 annually, but ANY amount goes a long way towards providing for our residents! Your sponsorship will help with the cost of staff to care for the resident, medical attention, food, toys, etc. You can make a HUGE difference in the life of one of our beautiful residents!
