Adoption Information

ARC is open Monday through Wednesday, from 11 AM until 4 PM, for tours and adoptions.  If you see a cat or dog that you like, you may contact us and an ARC representative will discuss the animal in further detail. Or you may call (239) 731-3535 between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM for more information.

Please Note:  The adoption process is NOT first come, first served.  If there is interest from more than one party in a particular resident, we will take into account all aspects of the applicants' applications, and choose the BEST HOME for our resident.  Our primary goal is to find the BEST homes for our animals.  Thank you for your understanding!

In order to be considered as an adopter,  you must:

  • Be 21 years old or older;
  • Have a current photo ID showing age and current address;
