Before arriving at ARC, Stu was rescued by another shelter after being involved in an automobile accident. This unfortunate event caused him to lose his left eye and left him with limited vision in his right eye.

Despite all the challenges he has faced, Stu remains a gentle and good-natured kitty. His playful spirit and affectionate nature shine through every day, making him a joy to be around.

He truly deserves a loving home where he can be loved and cared for the rest of his days in comfort and happiness.

How To Adopt?

ARC is open daily from 11 AM until 4 PM, Wednesday through Sunday, for visits and adoptions. If you see a resident that you like and you have further questions, you may contact us and an ARC representative will get back to you to discuss him/her in further detail. Or, you may call (239) 731-3535 between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM for more information. Please leave a message if we don't answer, and we'll do our best to return your call promptly.

Sponsorship

If you are unable to adopt a resident at this time, you can become a sponsor for a particular dog or cat! The average cost of care for one resident at ARC is $1000 annually, but ANY amount goes a long way towards providing for our residents!
