Zeke recently came to ARC from a shelter that was out of space. The adjustment to ARC was not easy for him in the beginning but he is definitely making progress.

He is good with other cats and still a little shy with strangers. Come, spend some time with him and see for yourself what a nice kitty he is.

How To Adopt?

ARC is open daily from 11 AM until 4 PM, Wednesday through Sunday, for visits and adoptions. If you see a resident that you like and you have further questions, you may contact us and an ARC representative will get back to you to discuss him/her in further detail. Or, you may call (239) 731-3535 between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM for more information. Please leave a message if we don't answer, and we'll do our best to return your call promptly.

If you are unable to adopt a resident at this time, you can become a sponsor for a particular dog or cat! The average cost of care for one resident at ARC is $1000 annually, but ANY amount goes a long way towards providing for our residents! Your sponsorship will help with the cost of staff to care for the resident, medical attention, food, toys, etc. You can make a HUGE difference in the life of one of our beautiful residents!
