To love Blanche is to love Dorothy. These two senior gals are a bonded pair who came to ARC from LaBelle Animal Control. Sweet, gentle, and devoted to one another, they share a special bond that's impossible not to admire.

Blanche and Dorothy are the kind of companions who will fill your home with quiet love and gratitude. They deserve a soft place to land where they can spend their golden years together, and any family lucky enough to welcome them will be truly blessed.

How To Adopt?

ARC is open daily from 10 AM until 3 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, for visits and adoptions. If you see a resident that you like and you have further questions, you may contact us and an ARC representative will get back to you to discuss him/her in further detail. Or, you may call (239) 731-3535 between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM for more information. Please leave a message if we don't answer, and we'll do our best to return your call promptly.

If you are unable to adopt a resident at this time, you can become a sponsor for a particular dog or cat! The average cost of care for one resident at ARC is $1000 annually, but ANY amount goes a long way towards providing for our residents!
