He came to us from LaBelle Animal Control along with 13 other dogs, and he’s been winning hearts ever since. Dixon is a mixed breed with a big personality—he may play a little hard to get at first, but give him a moment and you’ll discover what a total lovebug he really is.

Once he trusts you, Dixon is all about affection, loyalty, and companionship. He just needs someone willing to give him that chance.

How To Adopt?

ARC is open daily from 11 AM until 4 PM, Wednesday through Sunday, for visits and adoptions. If you see a resident that you like and you have further questions, you may contact us and an ARC representative will get back to you to discuss him/her in further detail. Or, you may call (239) 731-3535 between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM for more information. Please leave a message if we don't answer, and we'll do our best to return your call promptly.

If you are unable to adopt a resident at this time, you can become a sponsor for a particular dog or cat! The average cost of care for one resident at ARC is $1000 annually, but ANY amount goes a long way towards providing for our residents!
