Evan recently came to ARC because his guardian was no longer able to care for him. Being the good-natured kitty Evan is, he adjusted quickly to being at ARC.

Evan is a friendly, loving kitty that enjoys attention. In fact, he even enjoys spending time snuggled in staff and volunteer’s laps.

When the volunteers and staff are not available, he enjoys lounging leisurely on the screened area where he can watch everything going on outside, spend time with the other kitties, and amuse himself with his favorite toys!

How To Adopt?

ARC is open daily from 10 AM until 3 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, for visits and adoptions. If you see a resident that you like and you have further questions, you may contact us and an ARC representative will get back to you to discuss him/her in further detail. Or, you may call (239) 731-3535 between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM for more information. Please leave a message if we don't answer, and we'll do our best to return your call promptly.

Sponsorship

If you are unable to adopt a resident at this time, you can become a sponsor for a particular dog or cat! The average cost of care for one resident at ARC is $1000 annually, but ANY amount goes a long way towards providing for our residents! Your sponsorship will help with the cost of staff to care for the resident, medical attention, food, toys, etc. You can make a HUGE difference in the life of one of our beautiful residents!
