Leo is an easy-going kitty that welcomes all – staff, volunteers, and even strangers – when they come into his house. He also gets along great with all the other cats in his house and especially enjoys lounging on the screened area with them.

Loe’s playful curiosity and gentle demeanor make him a favorite among staff and volunteers, and he adapts well to new people and environments. He would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to explore and be part of a caring family.

Leo is FIV positive. FIV in cats is like HIV (the human immunodeficiency virus) and causes a feline disease that is like AIDS in humans. Although FIV is like AIDS in humans it is a highly species-specific virus that infects only felines. While there is currently no definitive cure for FIV in felines, with proper care there is no reason a cat infected with FIV cannot live a very normal, healthy life for years -- if managed appropriately.
