Starburst is a gentle natured kitten that welcomes petting and attention from volunteers and staff. He gets along great with all the other kittens in his house and likes playing with them as well as toys that roll or make a noise. He also enjoys spending time out on the screened area where he can watch the volunteers walk the dogs and can occasionally get to chase after a tiny lizard racing across the outside of the screen.

Starburst was born with a missing toe on both of his front paws. In no way do the missing toes interfere with him walking, running, and playing.
