Larkin - Multi-Year Resident!
- featured resident
Weight: 54 Lbs.
My story:
This shy girl came to us by way of Lee County Domestic Animal Services as they were running low on space. We often pull dogs from other shelters the don’t have the luxury of time that we do at ARC.
When Larkin came to us, she was diagnosed with Heartworm disease. We spent a great deal of time and money to rid her of this terrible disease. She is now healthy and ready to go to a home! Since Larkin can be shy, it would be best if she could go to a quiet home with a family that could work to slowly bring her out of her shell. Staff has been slowly socializing her with other dogs. She is also VERY storm-phobic. She needs some love and security for sure… She has also been “cat tested” and it appears that she’s even afraid of cats!
Do you have the time and love to invest in this sweet, shy pup? Why not come out to meet her today?!
